Why need a mobile version?

The Pickcel digital signage command center (a.k.a. the Pickcel console) is primarily hosted on cloud and accessible through the web. But to add more flexibility, we have brought some of our web console features to be accessible by mobile devices as well using the Pickcel Go app.

With the Pickcel Go app, carry out your digital signage activities during emergencies, while commuting, or simply when you are away from your desk.

Key Features of Pickcel Go

The Pickcel Go mobile app does not cater all the advanced functionalities that are available in the web console. But, you can easily perform the rudimentary actions to run your digital signage network.

1 Manage screens

Using Pickcel Go, you can register new screens with your Pickcel console.
Monitor the health of the signage screens through online/offline status.
Carry out remotely troubleshooting actions like rebooting devices, taking screenshots, clearing data, deactivating screens and so on.

What features aren't available?

Advanced features like managing display groups, custom properties of screens are available only on the web console.

2 Add Media

Upload the media stored in your mobile devices (image gallery).
Access thousands of free images & videos from the three Pickcel-integrated media sites: Pexel, Pixabay and Unsplash.
Capture images & videos with your mobile camera and upload them directly on the Pickcel media library.

What features aren't available?

Designing new media with Canva, creating new apps from the Pickcel app store, and accessing & adding PDF files to the media library are all web-only features.

3 Create Composition

Pickcel Go app allows you to create only full-screen (single-zone layout) composition.

What features aren't available?

Creating multi-zone layouts and other advanced composition features like custom layout designing are supported only on the web console.

4 Publish Content

The Pickcel Go app lets you publish compositions to your screen for rendering immediately, either as 'Quickplay' or as 'Default Composition.'
You can also use the app to schedule your contents for later. New schedules can be created but with the limitation of a single composition per schedule.

What features aren't available?

Advanced scheduling features like assigning multiple compositions per schedule (i.e. scheduling different compositions at different times of day/week/month) can be done only through the web console.
